DIRECTIONS TO THE INN FROM HIGHWAY 1

1. Traveling SOUTH on Hwy 1, pass the Monterey exit and follow signs to Carmel/Pacific Grove.  Take the next exit which is  SOLEDAD-MUNRAS AVE exit.
   
2. Cross MUNRAS AVE, go RIGHT on PACIFIC ST, about 1/2 a mile to MARTIN STREET.
   
3. Turn LEFT on MARTIN STREET. The INN is on the RIGHT, behind the tall trees.
   
4. The INN sign is above the driveway and 500 is on the brick post.

1. Traveling NORTH on HWY 1, take the MUNRAS AVE. exit.
   
2. At the signal, make an immediate LEFT on SOLEDAD DR.
   
3. Go 1 block, then RIGHT on PACIFIC ST. Proceed 1/2 mile to MARTIN ST.
   
4. Follow 3 & 4 above.

FROM SAN FRANCISCO: THE DIRECT ROUTE

1. Ask for directions from your Hotel to PARK PRESIDIO BLVD. or 19th AVENUE SOUTH (both are Hwy 1). Using Park Presidio Head South through Golden Gate Park, exit onto 19th Avenue going South.
   
2. On 19th AVENUE you will pass through a residential area with some shopping centers and a university (SFSU). Follow the signs to HWY 280 SOUTH.
   
3. Stay on 280 SOUTH for about 43 miles.
   
4. Exit on HWY 85 toward GILROY for about 18 miles until it joins HWY 101 SOUTH.
   
5. Continue another 42 miles, exit on HWY 156 WEST to the MONTEREY PENINSULA.
   
6. You will drive about 5 miles with artichoke & strawberry fields on either side until it joins HWY 1 SOUTH.
   
7. Pass the Monterey exit and follow signs to Carmel/Pacific Grove.  Take the next exit which is  SOLEDAD-MUNRAS AVE.
8. Cross MUNRAS AVE - go RIGHT on PACIFIC STREET, about 1/2 a mile to MARTIN STREET
   
9. Turn LEFT on MARTIN STREET. The INN is on the RIGHT behind the tall trees. You will see the SIGN above the driveway and 500 on the brick post.

FROM SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT: THE DIRECT ROUTE

1. When exiting the airport, follow the signs to HWY 280 SOUTH.
   
2. Follow Steps 3 - 9 above.

FROM SAN FRANCISCO: THE SCENIC ROUTE

1. Follow steps 1 - 2 on San Francisco THE DIRECT ROUTE.
   
2. Exit to HWY 92 to HALF MOON BAY, about 20 minutes after 280 SOUTH begins.
   
3. At the end of HWY 92, you will turn LEFT on to HWY 1 SOUTH towards SANTA CRUZ.
   
4. The drive from HALF MOON BAY along the coast to MONTEREY is about 92 miles. (Beautiful)
   
5. 33 miles from HALF MOON BAY - is the New Davenport Bed & Breakfast Inn - This is a good spot to stop for food, refreshments or to peruse their interesting gift shop.
   
6. Leaving Davenport, continue along the coast - travel through SANTA CRUZ - pass WATSONVILLE, and the artichoke and strawberry fields, shortly after you will glimpse MONTEREY BAY.
7. Follow steps 7-9 in DIRECT ROUTE

FROM SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT: SCENIC ROUTE

1. Follow signs when leaving SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT to HWY 280 SOUTH.
2. Watch for HWY 92 to HALF MOON BAY, about 15 minutes from the airport.
3. Follow steps 2-6 above.
4. Pass the Monterey exit and follow signs to Carmel/Pacific Grove.  Take the next exit which is  SOLEDAD-MUNRAS AVE exit.
5. Cross MUNRAS AVE - go RIGHT on PACIFIC STREET, about 1/2 a mile to MARTIN STREET 6. Turn LEFT on MARTIN STREET. The INN is on the RIGHT behind the tall trees. You will see the SIGN above the driveway and 500 on the brick post.

FROM SAN JOSE AIRPORT

1. Follow the Airport Terminal signs to exit on AIRPORT PARKWAY.
2. After passing through an Industrial Business area, make a RIGHT on OLD BAYSHORE.
3. Follow signs for HWY 101 SOUTH towards LOS ANGELES.
4. Enter ramp HWY 101 SOUTH.
5. Follow steps 5-9 THE DIRECT ROUTE.

FROM MONTEREY PENINSULA AIRPORT

1. Exit airport - RIGHT on HWY 68
2. It feeds into HWY 1 SOUTH.
3. Follow directions 7-9 in THE DIRECT ROUTE to the INN
